In 1999 Iain performed his first solo gig at Northern Theatre Company’s Studio 2. The gig was just Iain, a piano and support from Primordial’s Simon Cooke on Acoustic Guitar. It was received well and next time he arrived on his own with just his piano, some of the bands old songs and many new solo tracks. The live album he recorded at the gig sold well and prompted him to record a studio EP of his best solo songs. This is the current CD available featuring “Story in time”, the new song “Everything I’m not” and the title track “Light up another”. The EP also contains a bonus track of “Sweet Mary Jane” taken from Iain and Simon’s live album recorded at the first Northern gig.
