Iain started performing in 1993 with the band Primordial. He was lead singer, rhythm guitarist and keyboard player with Primordial for 4 years. The band also consisted of Simon Cooke (Guitar), Nick Roach (Bass), Simon Neligan (Brass) and Marc Hoad (Drums: now with “Pink Grease”). Primordial quickly became one of the most popular and best respected Guitar bands in the Hull area with regular gigs at The Adelphi Club, Blue Lamp, Room and two performances at the Tower Nightclub. The band also made their mark at the local festivals playing in Queens Gardens in the city centre and at East Park’s Rainbow Festival. As well as all this they toured out of Hull to various venues in the region and surrounding counties.
